🚗 A Resort That’s Easy to Reach

Thanks to its prime location in the Tarentaise Valley, Peisey-Vallandry is remarkably accessible - whether you’re arriving by car or train.

🛣️ By car: Major routes such as the A43, A430, and RN90 lead you straight to the resort, making the drive smooth and scenic.

🚆 By train: The regional line from Saint-Pierre-d'Albigny to Bourg-Saint-Maurice brings you close to the slopes. From the station, paid shuttle buses run regular rotations to the snow front, perfectly timed with train arrivals.

🚖 By coach: If you're arriving in Bourg-Saint-Maurice by long-distance bus, taxis are available to complete your journey comfortably.

💡 We often travel by car during off-peak hours, but we also recommend the train for a stress-free arrival—especially on Saturdays during school holidays, when traffic can be heavy.

🚘 By Road

Under normal traffic conditions and via major highways, Peisey-Vallandry is just:

❄️ Winter Travel Tips

In snowy months, special equipment (either winter tires, snow chains or snow snocks) is mandatory under the Mountain Law.

  • We strongly recommend winter tires
  • During heavy snowfall, you may be required to fit snow chains before ascending

🧭 How to Stay Informed

🚦 During heavy traffic, you MUST stay on the RN90. Secondary roads are strictly prohibited for holidaymakers and do not lead to the resort. These traffic regulations- known as RECITA (Regulation of Traffic in Tarentaise) - are enforced by local authorities to ensure safe and efficient flow through hazardous zones.

📍 Tip: As you approach Albertville, we strongly recommend disabling your GPS or at least turning off its traffic avoidance feature, which may redirect you to unauthorized roads.
